RojinTaak Agro–industry Complex was established by private sector’s investment in 2001 and reached utilization stage owing to its strong managerial support after undergoing the design, purchase, installation and commissioning stages in fast speed.
The company’s factory is built in Kermanshah Province on a 24- hectare land lot, 11 hectares of which being industrial. The factory is equipped with the most advanced foods industries machinery of Ing. Rossi & Catelli companies. The Company has the capacity of receiving daily 4200 tons of tomatoes. In selecting the type of machinery, the Company has sought to maintain prime properties of the tomatoes, including its lycopene (red pigments) as well as other antioxidants found in tomatoes, to produce and package a healthy, tasty product with a pleasant color, free from any heavy metals. The production lines of the factory are equipped with fruits processing machinery as well; and at the end of tomato paste production season, the Company has the capability of receiving daily 500 tons of fruits to be processed into porridge in sterilized packaging. The Company has already covered 8000 hectares of agricultural land as well as cultivated agricultural products from Californian and Canadian seeds along with using modern European machinery; which have resulted in achieving products with suitable viscosity and color, free from any heavy metals while keeping the original taste of tomato. In the meantime, the agriculture and farming promotion project of this company has already been registered in FAO as the most successful project in Asia.
With respect to the high capacity of production and local and foreign sale of Tomato Paste; and company’s demand to ensure sustained supply of metal lid and cans, the Company decided to establish a can production plant. For this purpose, the process of designing, purchasing and implementing the machinery, including premier and coating, printing, shearing, sewing the can and pressing the can lid was initiated in 2011 and in 2012, the plant entered in its utilization stage. The production lines of Rojin Taak Can Manufacturing Factory are equipped with modern technology supplied from Sudronik Company in Switzerland.
Rojin Taak Company is equipped with periform production lines in various gram-scales both for local markets and exportation purposes.
The services of experienced experts in plastic in-mold labeling (IML) led to the Company’s production of more than ten million pieces of this product per year. This sector reached its full utilization phase in 2013.
After the achievements gained by this Company, in 2016, the company produced various types of gluten-free tomato ketchup and marketed those products. The bottle and cap of the tomato ketchup are produced in the plastic production section of the complex. In addition, in line with completing its products baskets, the Complex has already been producing various types of mayonnaise and salad dressings as well as many other types of can food.
The agribusiness department of ROJIN TAAK AGRO INDUSTRIES officially initiated its operation in 2006 in Kermanshah Province. Diverse duties in this field have been entrusted to the above department; however, it basically deals with management of garden construction and developing agricultural farms, related and associated industries as well as supply and using types of agricultural inputs.
The agribusiness department of this company manages more than 6,000 hectares of people’s agricultural lands with a focus on growing tomatoes. Also, the company has taken great steps in transplant production, building and managing research farms, training farmers and solving their production problems. Currently, by managing more than 6,000 hectares tomato farms and 3,600 trained farmers, the potential for production of more than 360,000 tons of tomato annually has created. The valuable experiences of this company on cultivation of tomato are put into practice by 21 manpower at worker and expert level in Kermanshah and neighboring provinces. The company’s expertise in production of tomato resulted in collection of very important information through which, the company’s personnel are fully capable to operate anywhere in the world and shortly after initial production feasibility studies, they are able to build and manage standard tomato farms. Furthermore, agribusiness department is the only technical unit of this company active in the field of tomato production in Kermanshah Province, i.e. west part of the country, and has provided farmers party to contract with its achievements by modified seeds and creating research farms and applying many cultivation parameters in those farms. Such efforts have leaded to very good performance of certain farms with more than one hundred tons of output per hectare, which is by no doubt the result of company’s research activities. In the same context and in order to produce standard and healthy transplant, a greenhouse in four hectares was established in the company’s lands for transplant production that will be operated in 2017.
Besides producing tomato for tomato paste, the company produces a product suitable for peeled and sliced tomato in tomato juice as a record product at national level. The main duties and mission of the company’s agribusiness department could be outlined as follows:

One of the greatest honors of this department is recording company’s agro-industrial project in the field of training, extension and cultivation of tomato as the most successful project of Asia in FAO and being selected as the exemplary agro-industrial unit 2015 by the Ministry of Agriculture Jihad.
